GDPR & Data Rights
Revnetic is committed to data protection under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP). This page summarises your rights and how to exercise them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. Controller or processor?
Whom you contact depends on whose data it is:
- You are a workshop using Revnetic — for your account and team-user data, Revnetic is the controller; contact us directly (below).
- You are a customer of a workshop — that workshop (the Garage) is the controller of your personal data; please contact the Garage. Revnetic, acting as processor, will support the Garage in fulfilling your request.
2. Your rights
- Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — request deletion (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal retention duties.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Restriction & objection — limit or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent — where processing relies on consent, withdraw it at any time.
3. How to exercise a right
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, stating the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within 30 days; complex requests may be extended by a further two months with notice.
Marketing emails also include a one-click unsubscribe link in every message, which immediately stops further marketing to that address.
4. Data Processing Agreement
Workshops acting as controllers are covered by our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which is accepted at sign-up, forms part of the Terms of Service, and lists our sub-processors (see also the Privacy Policy). Questions about the DPA: [email protected].
5. International transfers
Some sub-processors are located outside Switzerland/the EEA. Such transfers are covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the Swiss addendum. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
6. Complaints
If you believe your data-protection rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or in the EU your local data-protection authority.
